In-House Design Team

Our in-house team of designers and plastic packaging experts will use their talents to assist you every step of the way.

Our dedicated staff will guide you in using your custom injection moulded parts to transform your products and wow your customers.

Expert Tooling Service

Our tool-making capabilities come with competitive tooling prices, allowing our clients the luxury of customisation without the costs often associated with traditional manufacturing methods.

We pair this with our product and component design service to ensure you get the plastic parts that you need. The part design process includes prototyping your moulded parts to ensure the tool-making quality meets your component requirements.

A Variety of Thermoplastics & Materials

Plastech Packaging & Healthcare Ltd has extensive manufacturing experience with injection moulded thermoset and thermoplastic materials. Our expert team can assist you in choosing the materials that will deliver high-quality parts for your specific purpose.

We have a polymer material for every product type when designing custom plastic injection moulded parts.

Some of your options include polypropylene (PP), low and high-density polyethene (LDPE, HDPE), polyethene terephthalate glycol (PETG), cellulose acetate (CA), flexi and rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC), ABS, polycarbonate, and nylon.

We offer a range of colours to choose from to match your products or branding. We also provide printing and labelling services to complement your final products.

We can manufacture custom moulded products within our Class 7 cleanroom and utilise laminar flow cabinets for any assembly needs.

Plastic Injection Moulding Process

The manufacturing process of plastic mouldings is ideal for creating customised moulded parts for almost any industry.

First, we fit the desired mould (made to your custom requirements) and then plastic pellets are fed into our modern injection moulding machines that range from 30 to 150 tonnes in size. Molten plastic is created from these melting plastic pellets and this is injected into the mould cavity. The plastic cools and solidifies to the cavity’s configuration and shape. The mould opens to eject your part and is ready to start the process again to complete your order of injection moulded parts.

This process allows high-volume production of moulded parts and countless variations to suit your needs, enabling you to customise your tooling, materials, thermoplastics and colours.

Injection Moulding vs CNC Machining

Injection moulding creates through addition while CNC (computer numerical control) machining creates through subtraction.

CNC machining uses milling tools to cut away from a larger solid piece of material to carve out your desired shape, using instructions controlled by a digital file.

On the other hand, injection moulding fills a mould tool of your desired shape with molten plastic to solidify into the part you need.

Because of the difference in speed, timings and overall methodology, injection moulding as a manufacturing process promises a better price per part, especially when working with large volumes. It is the ideal process for producing a high volume of plastic parts.

Markets & Industries

Our custom plastic moulding clients form part of a wide range of markets, including but not limited to:

  • Medical
  • Food
  • Confectionery
  • Cosmetics
  • Packaging
  • Engineering
  • Electronics

We can serve our clients in these diverse sectors because of our ability to manufacture both small and large volumes of bespoke plastic injection moulding parts at the best price.

Our procurement network includes suppliers from Europe, North America and Asia.
